Kevin O’Brien excited about his Flt20 deal with Somerset – Cricket News Update

“[Somerset is] a great club to be playing for, they’ve been at the finals day in the last two seasons, and so it would be amazing to get a chance to play at finals day,” said the 28-year-old Dublin-born all-rounder on Sunday.
Kevin O’Brien and Somerset CCC, on Sunday signed a deal according to which the Irish big hitter is supposed to play five Flt20 matches for the county, the first of which is against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862 at the County Ground on Wednesday, June 13.
O’Brien, an aggressive right-handed top order batsman and a handy right-arm medium pace bowler, played for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gloucestershire-c785 in last year’s Friends Life T20 tournament and hoped his stint with Somerset would be equally successful.
“...it gives me another chance to gain more valuable experience in T20 cricket,” hoped the all-rounder, who is best known for the fastest ever World Cup century, off just 50-balls, against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 last year.
“I’ve played quite a lot of T20 cricket over the last 12 months and it’s a version of the game that I really enjoy,” he added further.

Ireland are scheduled to play http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in September this year, and O’Brien hoped his stint with Somerset would provide him an opportunity
