Kevin Painter hopes to make it to the top at the Premier League
Everyone knows Kevin Painter as a darts player has always been an extremely hard worker in the game.
This hard work has paid off with his debut at the PDC’s McCoy’s Premier League Darts campaign along with Andy Hamilton.
However, experts have already suggested that ‘the artist’ will have to put in all his efforts to acquire a respectable position in the game.
He will be opening his campaign against ‘Flying Scotsman’ Gary Anderson.
This will later be followed by his encounter against Phil Taylor with whom he also shares a long standing rivalry.
It is important to mention here that players who will be able to perform well at the Premier League will automatically gain access and the license to the O2 event, which will take place in the month of May.
One of the dominant factors that have always worked for Painter is the entertainment value of this darts player.
It is precisely because of this reason he provides immense significance to the people who are present in the arena.
He said, “I think the capacity for our World Championship is 4,000 and some of these arenas we are going to will have 9,000 or 10,000 people in there. I will enjoy it, that’s the only way to be. I will go into every week, try to play properly and hopefully
I will do myself justice”.
Other than this, he will also be meeting players like Barney and Whitlock, which means that his journey throughout the tournament will not be as easy as eyed by Painter.
At the same time, Painter can just not wait to make his entry back on the oche.
He has not been taking part in any mainstream event since Ladbrokes and, hence, it is important for him to get into practice before making it into the event.
Experts believe that Painter, despite of his skill and attitude, fails to hold a grip on his nerve.
Since he is too concerned about the people present in the arena, their behaviour might cause an adverse effect on his performance.
It is, therefore, important for him to fully concentrate on his performance and not be solely concerned about the way his audience takes his game, as for even them, it is his victory that matters the most.
