Kevin Pietersen, John Buchanan indulge in War of Words
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kevin-Peter-Pietersen-c71169 may not be doing any talking with the bat or ball, but he has definitely picked his battle of words with Australia’s former coach, John Buchanan. The England struggling middle order batsman and all-rounder
has reacted strongly against the comments made about him by the former Australian coach.
Pietersen, reacted by saying that Buchanan is a “nobody” and it is amusing to find out that he has made headlines.
Earlier, Buchanan, who won three out of four Ashes series during his stint with Australia described Kevin Pietersen was a potential weak link in the English team. Buchanan was of the point that Australia needs to exploit this weak
link in the upcoming Ashes series, beginning from November 25, in Brisbane.
The former Australian Coach, John Buchanan, considers KP as England’s Achilles’ heel in the Ashes this year and clearly believes that he is the man to go after in order to bury the English side right to the ground. According to
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Buchanan-c48808, Kapers is a going to be a major problem for the English side if he cannot halt his declining form, which has resulted in no centuries in 27 Test innings played by the South African-born English cricketer.
However, Pietersen, who leaves for Australia with the English squad on Friday, has decided not to give much attention to the comments made in the latest statements by the former Australian coach.
Kapers went on to say that he did not react to Buchanan’s comments because it was strange that he made headlines. “I am not interested in what he has to say. Who is he? He is a nobody”, Pietersen said.
Kevin Pietersen, though claiming not to be intimidated by John Buchanan’s comments, went on to say that Buchanan had the best players of that era to coach, and anyone could have coached those players and still achieved the best
results. Kevin said, “He (Buchanan) had the best team to coach in the history of cricket. Anyone could have coached that team, he has done nothing else solid so I won’t even take it with a pinch of salt.”
It seems that Buchanan was successful in intimidating Kapes after all, as the statements coming from Pietersen can only be by an intimidated man. Perhaps this war of words will beef up even more in times to come, since the Australians
are famous for responding to anything thrown at them, especially before the beginning of any series they are involved in.
KP nuts, has rushed back to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-c60529 Ford was brilliant for his confidence and he knows
how to get the best out of him.
Kevin Pietersen, seems hungry for some runs and is hoping that he will do exceptionally well in the Ashes series. Kevin said that he is looking forward to the series and is full of confidence that he will do well.
The middle order batsman said that he will love to post a big score in the first Test against the mighty Australians. He said that, he has done it before and there is no reason why he cannot pileup runs against the Kangaroos this
time again. The 30-year old right hand batsman showed the potential to go down as one of England’s greatest cricketers when he marked his Test Debut with two half-centuries against Ricky Ponting’s side in 2005.
Pietersen is convinced that England are now in a position to win this Winter owing to great work done by the squad with the impressive coach Andy flower, who was appointed as England coach last January.
Whatever happens one can be sure of the fact that when it comes to the Ashes, neither of the two teams gives up that easily. It will be a tough series this time in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, since England have their game face on and are coming
for the kill.
