The promising England top-order batsman, Jonathan Trott, has said that Kevin Pietersen’s decision to retire from the international limited overs was not a surprise but a huge disappointment for him.
"You can understand it in a way, but it's a huge disappointment as well," said Trott while speaking to the media reporters on Tuesday.
"It wasn't a huge surprise. Kev is his own guy and has to make his own decisions. The team fully support his decision. Whatever he decides to do with his cricketing career is fine," he added further.

in utter disbelief. The cricketing community was surprised not because of his decision to quit limited overs international cricket but with the timing of his decision as KP’s retirement call has come just a couple of months before the fourth ICC World T20
Championship.

be a huge blow for the defending champions.
