Kevin Sinfield has his eyes set on Four Nations 2011 title - Rugby News

English skipper, Kevin Sinfield, shared with media reporters on November 16 that he is hoping to bag a win against Australia in the Gillette Four Nations title decider on November 19, at the Elland Road, in Leeds.
Presently, comparing either side, Australia is the stronger side of the clashing teams. However, since the English side is full of surprises, nothing can be ascertained. Saturday’s final showdown is going to be England’s second take on Kangaroos, where the
first one at Wembley ended in an embarrassing 36-20 defeat.
The English side did not lose hope with their first defeat against the series’ favourites as they played really well against last year’s World Champions, New Zealand, in the sudden death encounter which made them finalist of the series last show down.
Now, that England will lock horns with Roos for the second time in the series, Sinfield is aspiring to brush aside popular expectation just like his franchise, Leeds Rhinos, managed to win 32-16 in the Grand Final at Old Trafford toppling over St. Helens.
These results created waves in the world of rugby league, as the underdogs of the campaign walked out victorious from the Super League Campaign 2011 after finishing fifth within the Super League ladder, at the end of the regular Super League season.
While expressing his thoughts about emulating the same scenario here against Kangaroos at Elland Road, the English skipper said, "There are some similarities. I'm really proud to be part of this group. There's a great team mentality and, in that respect,
it's very much like Leeds and hopefully we can have a similar finish.”
According to the figures released by Rugby Football League (RFL), ticket sales have gone beyond 30,000, which will also add up to the already mounting pressure on the English side or it can also act otherwise.
Commenting about their recent loss against the same opponents, Sinfield added, "There were some areas we certainly troubled them in at Wembley and they will have looked at the tape to try to fix them up. We just need to roll our sleeves up. We'll work hard
again and improve and we'll have a massive English crowd behind us at Elland Road."
