Kevin Strootman: We really can’t afford to lose against Ajax Amsterdam – Dutch Eredivisie news
PSV Eindhoven’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Strootman-c20775 has admitted that his side cannot afford to lose the upcoming league encounter against bitter rivals Ajax Amsterdam at Philips Stadion.
The 21-year-old has revealed that the upcoming fixture will not decide the title race and urged his side to bag all three points to remain in the race for the Eredivisie title.
“The title race won't be decided in this one game, but we really can't afford to lose on Sunday. The gap with Ajax will grow to six points if that happens," Strootman was quoted as saying to the Dutch media.

Strootman believes that the upcoming fixture will prove to be an important match for both sides and urges his side to bag all three points in front of their home crowd.
“It will be a very important game for both sides and I'm really looking forward to it. We have to pick up the full three points in order to catch up with Ajax in the table. It is crucial to send out a signal by winning this match”, the midfield ace added.
The Dutch International then went on to express his excitement about the match against the Amsterdam giants.
“I will not direct the contest to sleepless nights, but there will certainly be much more excitement than that”, Strootman concluded.
The Eindhoven giants are currently placed fifth in the league table, trailing the league leaders Ajax by three points.
