  1. Decode this lyrics " One moment in time"

    Once upon in time.

When everyone was living in misery in the "Wild, wild west"

    Back in the past.

When some still climb up coconut trees and still look green with lost sense of direction and purpose of life.

    Some where in time.

We begun to travel and explore the whole wide-world.

Some how landed on the shore.

    That we called Australia.

    Came across the natives.

    Was communicating with ape fingers.

Since both was living in misery.

We do have faulty communication problems.

To get to know one another better in time.

We try to teach their children first.

With time they grew up to be a "Better man"

While we ended up being short-changed even getting club in riding on the kangaroos back in going back into the wild.

All for the cheap-skate glory of self prides of success.

    Right ! Mum?

After raising him up back in the past.

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

    What do you think?

  2. Its a good start but there is a h**l of a lot more to do and to apologise for.  I'm  a Kiwi who lived in Aus for a while and I was stunned at the racism - especially against Aborigines.  When I saw it, suddenly the Tasmanian extermination seemed more believable.

BTW, I was very tanned when I went there and many people thought I was Maori, but I had no problems with racism from that.

What happened back then was as bad or worse than the Holocaust and went on for generations - not a few years.  Discriminatory laws, practices and attitudes still exist - look at deaths in custody and, though the government cannot undo the past, it can atone for it and ameliorate it for the future.

  3. I personally believe that this was the right thing to do, i also belive that aboriginals can't blame todays government for what happened. Now the apology has been said it should be left alone. They got what they wanted and that is great. I just hope that they don't think they have a right to anything they want. Nobody is above the law, and everyone should be treated fair and just.

  4. Hey, thats a good question.

i'm actually an aboringal and i do beleive it was a really good apology. kevin rudd just said it all. even though the aboriginal people did it bac in the olden days it still is the governments fault for the laws.

the apology was really good and i respect it. it blew me off my chair to hear a prime minister apologising.

    good question!!
