Key Store Password on Blackberry Pearl 8130?

I was installing an application on my blackberry- and it asked for the above. I never had such a password selected or set up. I called Verizon and they said it is just a glitch and to try and get around it. I did. But I know it will come up again, as i have seen it before. Have you experienced that? thanks

Keystore Password is a feature that are now in the newer Blckberry's

It store's all your private password, credit card numbers or what not.

It's encrytped. Meaning if you forget this password you lose all and will reset you Blckberry to it's original form.

That said...it's an option. you dont have to set it up. If you dont want to have this pop up everytime go to. I would just set it up and create one.

Go to your main screen. Locate application folder.  Click Password keeper. create password. Make it simple.

or when it comes up again. Just cancel
