Key on keyboard won't work?

Question

The "L" key on my laptop keyboard won't work. I've tried prying it off and cleaning it, still nothing. Any ideas?

Usually when that happens to me I press down really hard on the key and it pops back into place.

sounds like you need to smash it...that usually works

probably on key lock and if u cant type l tehn how did you type it on ur ?!

then that key's probably broken, go to a computer repair shop or just get a new keyboard

Hi,

Try going Control Panel -> Regional Settings, Try changing your locale to Something Like Norweigan, Click Apply, then Switch back to English (UK)

If that doesn't fix, try holding Control + L, and then try Shift + L

Keys like shift etc sometimes get stuck, if not then you'll need your laptop repaired.

go get it fixed and in the mean time copy and paste an L when you need it. thats all i can think of.

laptop keyboards are always a struggle..it should work on its own sonner or later.

It is obivious that the "L" key on the laptop is broken

Go to the computer's website and research what you should do
