Keyboard probs advent 9115 laptop

Question

my toddler has slammed down on my keyboard and now i cant type a number 9 without holding down the function key or any letters that have numbers in blue relating to the function key. if i hold down the function key i can type all the letters ok but if not u becomes 4, i - 5, o - 6, etc.has my function key been damaged and what can i do?
