Keyboard shortcuts help

Is there a keyboard shortcut (like windows key and e brings up explorer) to make all windows minimise or in other words show the desktop???

Any ideas would save me so much time!

  1. What Dalvenjia said -- but here's another trick that I really like as well. Hold down your "Alt" key and then tap on the 'Tab' key on your keyboard (just once). It will bring up a list of all of the different applications that you have open on your computer, along with a short description of what that application is. You can toggle through them one at a time by keeping the 'Alt' key pressed and tapping on the 'tab' key over and over. Once you 'land' on the application that you want, lift your thumb off the 'Alt' key and that application will automatically pop up on your computer....

    CTRL+X Cut.

    CTRL+V Paste.

    CTRL+Z Undo.

    DELETE Delete.

    SHIFT+DELETE Delete selected item permanently without placing the item in the Recycle Bin.

    CTRL while dragging an item Copy selected item.

    CTRL+SHIFT while dragging an item Create shortcut to selected item.

    F2 Rename selected item.

    CTRL+RIGHT ARROW Move the insertion point to the beginning of the next word.

    but there are time when a window can't be minimized. In that case press:

    win + D is the show desktop shortcut
