Keyless Entry Installation in 2003 Kia Sorento? Please Help!?

Hello,

My 2003 Kia Sorento came without the Keyless Entry option, and we have decided that we would like to install one.

Best Buy offers a Viper Keyless Entry System for $140 (Basic Installation Included)... but I found a hardware store that sells another aftermarket Keyless Entry kit that you can install yourself for much cheaper.

I've never done this, nor do I know how it is done. Has anyone done this? Anyone have any advice or directions on how I can do it myself?

Any advice would be very appreciated!

I myself have not done this, but my daughter is the service advisor for a KIA dealership.  As it is very late here, I will contact her at work later when she's there and get your information if you still need it then.

Andrew, my daughter says you need to take your key fob to a KIA dealership and let them use their computer to activate it.  Hope this helps.
