Keyless Entry - what to look for, what to watch out for.?

I'll be moving late this year and when I replace the locks, I'd like to get keyless entry at least for one door. I don't know much about keyless locks. I plan to have it installed by a locksmith. Tell me what I should be looking for and what to watch out for so that I can ask the right questions.

I am mostly concerned about personal security when I am at home vs. preventing breakins when I am not at home. In the area where I am moving, the nearest neighbor is typically 1/2 mile or more away.

I would research them on the web like you have already started to do then go to a locksmith shop and ask them to show you their keyless entry locks.  As they explain them to you you will come up with lots of questions and your own set of guidelines.
