its an ancient bazar in Cairo. Sit at fishawi cafe at its mouth , sip mint tea and smoke seesha. its fairly centrally located and you will meet interesting people and many tourist there

It is located in El Azhar Region. It would take about 15 minutes from El Tahrir with light traffic and about 30 minutes with heavy traffic.  You'll have to allow about 1 hour from Khan El Khalili to Cairo Airport.  Avoid going there on Fridays during the noon prayers time (at 1:00 o'clock).
