Former Stuttgart youth academy player Rani Khedira has been promoted to professional side of the Swabians. The young starlet is following the footsteps of his older brother http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sami-Khedira-c32325, who is currently employed at Spanish giants’
Real Madrid.
The talented midfielder will start practicing with the German club from now on, and will replace Mahamadou Bah who has been demoted to play in the reserves because of personal issues. This will be a huge boost for the young prodigy
who has been tipped for a great future.
The Reds’ sporting director Fredi Bobic stated that his side is enforcing their plan of fielding the youngster into the starting team by the next summers. The club wants him to gel with the other players and will do their best
to develop the future star.
The club official claimed that the Reds want him to get first team action and learn from his time with the quality players at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. He suggested that the 18-year-old can gain vital experience as he will not face
any kind of pressure training with the squad.
"We are therefore bringing forward the plan we had for next summer of feeding Rani Khedira into the first team and of integrating him and constantly pushing on his development," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
"He can therefore gain valuable experience at this level in training without any pressure," he added.
"Unfortunately, his private situation does not mean he can concentrate fully on sport," he noted.
"But we respect his private life. If an interest club makes an approach in the winter, then we will not stand in his way," he concluded.
Rani came through the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 of Die Roten, like his brother who played for them for 15 years before signing for Madrid in 2010. Sami enjoyed a good spell with Stuttgart and played 98 league games for them, scoring 14 goals
in the process. Moreover, Bah has been asked to find a new suitor in the January transfer window.
