Indonesia’s Khistin Tonia powers her way into Women’s Singles round-of-16 after winning her second-round fight against her team-mate Tabitha Emilianikova Winarto at Djarum Sirnas Flypower Jakarta Open 2012 in Indonesia, on Thursday, May 17.
Khistin started her run in the tournament as an un-seeded shutter but turned into a major contender by playing thrilling badminton in all of her matcher.
She remained impressive while playing against Tabitha and won the contest in three games by working well for 40 minutes.
On the other hand, Tabitha played superb badminton in the first game and won it with a staggering margin.
However, she lost her focus in the lost the following games with a big margin and crashed out in the second round of the competition.
In the first game, Khistin found a possibly worst start when she could not play positive badminton and remained struggling in the court.

After the interval, the spirited Khistin continued her positive and dominating performance and did not commit mistakes at any stage in the game.
She wrapped up second game with a tremendous margin of 21-8 and levelled the match.
In the deciding game, Khistin did not stop her aggressive play as she remained consistent in the court and took a small lead until the break.
After the interval, Khistin injected more power into her shots and did not spare any room for Tabitha of fighting back in the match.
Khistin bagged the final set in a superb fashion by putting up a 21-15 score on the board.
The in-form Khistin won this thrilling encounter in rubber games by an interesting margin of 6-21, 21-8 and 21-15.
