Korea’s Ki Sung Han and Bo Ram Lee cheered the local crowd as they delivered superb performance in Mixed Doubles first round when they toppled Mongolia’s Dulguunbayar Uuganbayar and Munkhchimeg Mendjargal at Korea Grand Prix Gold in Korea, on Wednesday,
December 5.
The in-form Ki Sung and Bo Ram, who were on a different level all departments of the game, consumed just 20 minutes in the arena to show exit to their Mongolian challengers in a lopsided fashion.
Ki Sung and Bo Ram were in smashing form on court as they played with remarkable precision and managed to crush their rivals in straight games with a completely one-sided score on the board.
In contrast, Dulguunbayar and Munkhchimeg were in trouble as they failed to live up to expectations and eventually lost the match without showing even a meagre resistance on court.
In the first game, Ki Sung and Bo Ram showed an attacking display their impressive skills and took no time in setting up a wonderful lead on score board.
Korean shuttlers showed that they belong to higher class of players as they put up staggering show of top class badminton and maintained their upper hand over the Mongolian challenger without facing any trouble.
Until the one-minute break in first half, Ki Sung and Bo Ram remained in complete command of rallies and set up a huge lead on score board.
On the other hand, the confused Dulguunbayar and Munkhchimeg failed to create trouble at any stage for their local challengers in the concluding half of opening set.
Meanwhile, Ki Sung and Bo Ram stayed focused in the arena and they easily ended up the first game with a superb margin of 21-6.
In the following game, the lofty Ki Sung and Bo Ram played with reasonable speed without leaving any chance for Dulguunbayar and Munkhchimeg to fight back on in the game.
Korean players were at their best as they played with tremendous speed and managed to set up a wonderful gap until the one-minute break.
After the break, Ki Sung and Bo Ram were calm and composed in the arena and easily took the second game with a stunning difference of 21-5.
The Korean duo won the opening round contest in a lopsided fashion in straight games with a huge 21-6 and 21-5 score on the board.
