is it worth the amount of wait time??? im kinda scared but i love rollercoasters so i like being afraid of one for once. lol

I have been on both and King Da Ka is worth it.  The propulsion system is way faster than top Thrill Dragster and it is super intense.  I would say if it wasn't hot i would wait or go during the week and pay half price -- then use the extra money to buy a flash pass for the day-- worth it if you wanna get on all of the coasters with out spending your day on lines.

Get to the park early and ride it first to beat the lines. I hate waiting in long lines, but when I went to Six Flags Great Adventure (I live in Texas) last year I was prepared to wait however long the line was to ride it. Kingda Ka was the first thing my friend and I (who is from Boston) did when we arrived at the park. I am also a coaster enthusiast, and while sitting there waiting to launch, I felt a little nervous as well.

We were lucky that day, bad weather in the Jackson area earlier in the day kept the crowds down. However, when we returned the following day, which was a Saturday, the line was insane. Get there early, and you should have better luck at beating the lines.

Kingda Ka is worth waiting for once or twice, esp if you have to travel across the country to get to ride it! It is alot of fun, and the launch is incredible and never seems to end. If I lived closer to Great Adventure I'd go on weekdays during the summer so I could ride it more without waiting in as long of a line.

In conclusion-get out there and ride it! :)

Of course it's worth it. It's the tallest roller coaster!!!!

Well, I haven't been on Kingda Ka, but I have been on Top Thrill Dragster which is just shorter than it.  I am a coaster enthusiast, and I also got nervous before ttd.  I got in line, and it was a very good decision.  

So I think you should, because if you don't it will be nagging you for days after.  Trust me.  You'll love it!  :)

No doubt its worth it!! Its the tallest and fastest coaster in the world, and if you can't wait in line for that, you're impatient! Go! Go! Go!
