my kia sportage is driving me insane.it is running like c**p and often stumbles at stop lights and backfires as you press the gas to leave the light. i just checked the computer for codes and i got the following codes

PO650- MIL CONTROL CIRCUIT MALF

PO141- O2 SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT MALF(BANK 1 SENSOR 2)

PO171 SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 1)

PO13A- FUEL AIR METERING

PO128- COOLANT TEMP BELOW THERMOSTAT REGULATING TEMP.

now, i know that the PO650 is because the bulb in the check eng. indicator is blown and i also know the the PO128 is because i replaced the thermostat with a 180 degree instead of stock, but the rest i am unsure of.

so far i have replaced the following: fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires and coils, and pcv valve.

  1. It looks like you have a fuel pump issue. What year is it?
