  1. thats a great way

  2. depends on the program, if it is an intensive program you will build muscle depending on your starting point and effort you put into it.

keep in mind that a punch comes from multiple body parts not just your pecs or shoulders or hips but lower body stregth too.

you can in the right program build it all, and you will build in the proportion of those muscles that you are using to train your martial art with.

however if your sole interest is building your upper body, then simply bulking in a gym and hitting the iron is more for you.

if you arent taking an MA to learn the MA then you won't stick with it.

  3. Kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, and other forms of cardio can help get you cut, but weightlifting is the best way to build any muscle group.

  4. If you get/got a lot of muscle on the upper body is Boxing Good for you, but if you are going or training Kick-Boxing you should be fast instead of strong, Power and Speed is the best was.
