Kicked in upper arm, now numbing sensation in palm of hand and fingers?

Hello,

I was kicked in the upper arm today and not long after I’ve been noticing a constant numbing sensation in the palm of my left hand (the side I was kicked). The kick really wasn’t that hard and didn’t really hurt either, it’s just this numbing sensation that I’m worried about. If I touch it I can still feel, it’s like the sensation is below the skin, and it feels like its going up to the tip of my pinkie and the finger next to it as well. Does anyone know what this is, and how long it will take to go away? Thanks

  1. The kick may have hit a nerve.  It's amazing how nerve endings will send signals throughout the body.  A pinch in the neck can show up as numb fingers.  You may want to see a doctor to be sure that it's nothing serious.
