I had 2 12"Sony Xplod 1300watt Subwoofers and they hit VERY hard....I sold them to my brother and now I just purchased 2 12" Kicker Comp 300watt Subwoofers and I got a 1500 watt Kicker Amp, I have not hooked it up yet, but I'm worried they wont hit as hard because they Subs are much less in watts. What do you guys think?

  1. the comps you have are nice but you are going to have to wire your subs to have an 8 ohm load at the amp if you are going to use them on a Kicker ZX1500.1 unless you have a ZX750.1 and are using the max wattage which doesnt mean anything then you will have to wire your subs to a total of 4 ohm load at the amp

  2. kicker all day. Especially if they are compVX , they have the same peak power as the l7.

  3. kicker over sony products any day of the week....just make sure the rms of the subs  matches the amp and it will hit harder...it depends on the enclosure too

  4. you will not be dissapointed kicker subs will kick sonys subs *** anyday of the week
