Kicker Solo X 12"? Will this work?

Question

Ok, I was looking into getting a Kicker Solo X 12".

I was just planning on getting like a JL Audio 1000/1 Amp.

A Kicker Wiring Kit 4 Guage Power and Ground Wire.

And A Box That Fits The Solo X's Specs.

Is that all I need? And will it work?

Plus I can just add another amp if i want more power out of it, but I doubt I will.

It looks like a winning combo to me.

I think you can strap the slash series amps. So, If you wanted to, you could add another 1000/1 and follow the instructions in the owners manual. What ever you do, don't wire the amps separately to each voice coil. This can cause serious damage to the subwoofer.

The only thing i would recommend in addition would be Tee nuts to mount the woofer. And maybe bigger speaker wire. If the kit comes with less than 12 gauge.

get the zx2500 so the amps and subs match up(never needed but always cool to have)..and i would say u need 0 guage power wire
