Kicker ZX 750.1 amplifier problem.?

Whenever i turn the car on, the amplifier's red LED light ( which indicates protection mode) illuminates for about 5 seconds and then the amplifier completely shuts off. What is going on? I changed the fuses already and nothing changed...

  1. Make sure the ground is down good. I dont know why it would cut off. But i had my ground not down tight and it just stayed in protect mode. So make sure the ground is down tight.
