Kicker rs Kicker ss?

Question

i bought the kicker rs and kicker ss component speaker sets....for some reason the SS's look huuuuge compared to the rs's..i measured them across tho and they r both 6 1/2...does that make any sense

the only difference in size i could think about would be their depth
