  1. what are you putting it in? The 10 should be plenty and with the right box and amp these sound really good!

  2. id recomend the 10's.  Since the solo barics are square, they have a lot more surface area than a circular sub of the same size.  10" solo barics sound like round 12"s.  12" solo barics sound like round 15"s.  Since i personally think 15"s are muddy and distorted, id recomend the 10"s because they sound like 12's

  3. I dont know much about the Kicker Solo baric subs other than they are high wattage and loud. But i do know that there is a difference in sound between sub sizes. I have a pair of Bazooka 10' subs in my car each is 300 watts running off of a 300 watt mono amp with the ported box. Circuit city special. Any ways i have those and my younger brother has a pair of Rockford Fosgate 12'  P1's with a ported box. They are both wired the same besides the difference in amp, but his are a lot BOOMier they sound really good with rap hip hop kind of music. On mine the 10's hit with more accuracy, if that makes any sense, they sound better with more rock and jazz kind of, but they do play rap hip hop well too. It would be better in my opinion to go with the 10' because they are less boomy but still put out a nice sounding bass, i think with kicker subs it wont matter what you play it should sound good either way

  4. A little cleaner sound, yes. but not nearly as much kick as the 12's.  But still, solobarics sound very nice.
