  1. u got to stretch for at least 15 minutes every day...u have to sit in ur splits for at least a minute each...strech expecially ur legs...when u get ur splits down the kicks will come easily..im not going to lie u will be sore...i would do conditioning maybe every other day also... that will just help with being in shape and ull need that for kicks....i honestly can tell u i dont remeber how i got my splits down different than just sitting in them and pushing them down....stretch ur straddles too...just sit in them and lean to the right left center and try to touch ur toes or ground for those...for before u do splits do lunges.....find out different ways to stretch the lunj...good luck:)

  2. First of all your going to have to stretch every single day.  And I mean heavy duty stretching.

The way I learned how to do the splits was by sitting on the floor with my legs as far apart in a v shape as possible.  Then, i would walk my hands out and use them to pull me up.  If you do that every day for long enough you'll find yourself slowly getting into the splits.

Flexibility is all about stretching also.  Depending on where you want to become flexible will depend on what types of stretches you need to do.

Run a search on your search engine for stretching and you should find all kinds of descriptions of different stretches and what they do.  Or you can send me an email and I can send you the papers I use to teach my students about stretching.

After you've stretched and warmed up each day, practice your kicks.  You'll notice them slowly getting higher and higher.

If you have questions, drop me an email and I can help you more.  I could talk about this stuff for days! haha
