(crotch rocket) whats the best gear to do it in?

  1. Kick start in neutral.

    If you mean jump start then 2nd or 3rd gear. I use 2nd but my bike only has 4 gears. On a bike with a close ratio transmission I would recommend 3rd gear.

  4. Alwaus start in neutral. Mine won't start in gear, even if the clutch is in!

  5. neutral.  or any gear with the clutch in!  But i dont know any crotch rockets that you can kick start....

  6. My bet is that no sport bike made in the last 10 years has a kick start.   If it did, neutral is best.
