Kid's b-party ideas?

Well have a pool party, have hot dogs and chips and dip. get a slip and slide! Maybe play volleyball! You can even rent a jumping castle. Hire a clown, do face painting, buy inexpensive water guns and give to kids, or water balloons. Hope this is in warm weather, if not, take them to Chuckie Cheese's

lots of inflatable animal toys,play sports, and for food :meat kabobs, fruit kabobs,pizza, and fruit slushy to drink.

Water guns, water balloons ... a pool basketball net, or pool volleyball net ... diving rings ....  You can also call your local fire or police department.  They're usually happy to send firemen/policemen out to talk to the kids; and the kids love meeting them ......  BBQ hot dogs is probably easiest with a veggie/dip platter, potato chips and a fruit platter.  If there will be some parents there too, you could have some "gourmet" sausages for them and coleslaw and/or potato salad.  A "cupcake cake" is great (cupcakes pushed together and frosted as a cake on top), because it's easier to serve and eat.  Kroger makes them in their bakery, and other grocery stores probably do too (LOTS of different designs)....     And, of course, a pinata is always fun:)......
