  1. First, why are you trying to become a vegetarian? Whatever your answer was that is how you stay a vegetarian. You have to make a commitment to that reason and stick to your commitment... but that commitment has to be alot more than stopping eating meat. You have to replace the fiber, iron, and vitimans that come from not eating meat. You need to do some research on vegetarian diets to ensure that you are getting the proper nutrients otherwise you can get really sick (i.e. anemic... which is when you don't have enough iron in your blood and your get really weak and feel like c**p and get sick easier).

Also try having your doctor and your mother and yourself sit down and discuss it at the next dr. visist!

  2. Just because you're a vegetarian, you don't have to eat lots and lots of vegetables.  Just skip out on the meat.  For breakfast, you can eat pancakes, cheese omlette, bagel and cream cheese, cereal etc.  Lunch and dinner can be pizza without any meat, mac and cheese, cheese lasagna, rice and beans, potato skins...etc, etc..  You get the picture.  If you're quitting meat for ethic reasons, then I give you kudos.  I just wish I had the will power to stop eating meat.  If you find it nearly impossible to stop eating meat, I guess the next best thing is to become a polloterian.  That means not eating any mammals (red meat also), and just sticking to poultry, like chicken and turkey.  Red meat is bad for you, and I supposed the healthiest meat is like white chicken meat.

It's so easy to substiute things with chicken, like ground chicken, chicken patties and so on.  Try skipping out on meat totally and see how that goes.  Good luck!
