Kid friendly names for a v****a?

So, I have an off topic question...sort of. My son is noticing girl and boy parts...or atleast that they are somehow different. As I am also expecting a baby girl, here is my question: What have you all came up with as kid friendly names for a v****a? We call his p***s a "pee pee". I was told to call mine a "kitty", when I was younger. I am looking for something that doesn't have an alternate meaning.

  1. well y lil girl calls her's a tinkle as does my hubby at first I just called it a we we   pe pe is more for a boy

  2. haha i had this problem with my son!  I was told to call mine a tuppence by my mother.  My partner uses the term la-la, which is a tellytubby so im not so keen on that.  We use winkle for the boys bits so im thinking a tinkle or something for the girls.  Another one ive heard used is froo-froo which isnt so bad!

  3. Call it what it is.  Kids need to know the correct terminology.  What if she is trying to tell someone her kitty itches and they think she's talking about her cat?  It's totally appropriate that kids know and understand the words p***s and v****a.

  4. How about "v****a"?

People don't feel the need to come up with fake names for other body parts.  I don't see why they are so opposed to a child knowing that a p***s is called a p***s and a v****a is called a v****a.  Those are the correct terms for those body parts, just like nose, knee, and elbow.

Children should learn the proper names for body parts and not be given the idea that they are somehow shameful and embarrassing.  Look at the number of adults who can't even use those words, because they were given issues about it when they were children--they use stupid terms like va-jay-jay, private part, pee pee, etc. when they are grownups!

  5. My mom used and now I use cho cho.  Pronounce like show but with a C vs. a P.

  6. My friends daughter called hers a "feef" which I thought was a good alternative word. Good luck, this is a tough one! Find something you feel comfortable using, that won't be awkward in a public place if it comes up!!

  7. I think calling it what it is is fine, v****a!

My sis in law has 4 girls, and they call it Va-J-J, which I think is cute. And they call the p***s a Peeshee...they are all under 5 years old, so using cute names is fine for now in my opinion!

  8. va jay jay.. I've heard that one tons of times.. at least it sort of sounds like v****a... unlike "rose" and "garden" and like .. "garage" or other stupid things parents come up with.

  9. Wow, ummm "pee pee"? thats what comes out......

Anyway, i always called it a "Tinker" for both boys and girls.

  10. How about calling it by it's scientific name, a v****a?! That's what it is! By calling it by cutesy fake names you are only sending him the message that it is something bad to be ashamed of.

  11. how about coochie...lol..

  12. my daughter saw my husband in the bath and asked why does dad have a tail.

so we kept that name for the moment for his bits.

we have managed without giving it a name for my 2 daugters bits, it's just the front of your bum where you wee from, when it comes up when we are talking. if some thing is wrong they normally point to the problem or say their wee hurts & so not shout it out across the room that their v****a! hurts.

We also are waiting for them to notice that some animals have 2 tails :o)

But the oldest is now 5 and at school so anytime now she will be learning lots of new names for things :o(

  13. why not v****a! whats wrong with using the true terms for parts of the body?

  14. We call it a "sushy" it my house. My mom always called it our "wee-wee". My sister now calls it "the craw", LOL!

  15. I called it nana when I was little.  Not Nana (the grandmother's name) but nana like nahnah.

  16. Va-Jay-Jay.

  17. Well, this is a little juvenile, but then maybe it would be good for kids!  I still call my v****a my "Hoo-Ha" to my husband!  I've also heard people call it the "wee wee" (since boys got the pee-pee).  Hope this helps!
