Kid just doesn't get it?

Question

Last week at my karate class this little girl stole some money directly out of my wallet which was in a zippered pocket of my bag. (i actually asked her if she would watch it for a minute when i went to get dressed for class) After class was over i wanted to get a snack and went to get my wallet and noticed $15 gone.

Ihad my thoughts that she had taken it, but told her "if you see $15 on the ground its most likly mine and i'd like ti back, have you seen it" nope. At the endo of class i asked everyone there about it noone knew.

At the next class the girl comes up to me and hands me $20 bucks w/ an apology for stealing. I thanked her. (her parents made her give me the extra $5)

i was pissed at her but iwasn't mean i was just to her. (like kinda annoying her telling i wasn't in a mood to tell jokesandlike

Then she starts crying saying i'm being mean to her and she tells me its all my fault she got spanked because if i didn't tell everyone her parents wouldn't have known.

ok it's definately NOT ur fault honey she's just trying 2 giv u the guilt trip which it seems lik it's working and that's not goo and she does deserve 2 get punished cause  she did sumthing wrong and if she doesn't get punished then she gonn think it's alright 2 steal things so...u hav 2 kinda b hard on kids so them they dont choose the wrong path so don't worry bout it u did everything u were suppose 2 do

She has good parents

I was at a water park when my daughter was five

We were leaving, and getting dress

Anyone that knows how small those changing rooms are, nows confusing it is with a child in it

Well, I forgot the thing I had around my neck with my money in it

There was a Mother a child around 7 waiting.  Both went it.  I walked out, and realize I forgot it

Knock on door and ask for it

She ask if I could wait, being a parent that just were in their changing myself and a child said yes

She took the money a gave it back

I want to yell, my god you took money in front of you child

What are you teaching them

Did not, because I did not want to embarrassed the child

At least those parents did the right thing

Sounds like the kid doesn't have a conscience to me! I think her parents punished her correctly and they obviously felt embarrased at their daughter's actions. I think this girl really needs to learn a lesson and most of all, learn from her mistakes. Maybe you should have a word with her parents and let them know how she's behaved. There's nothing to lose and you're within your rights.

That kid is a brat aslong as U really were being nice, and it sounds that way then she just needed to say sorry. She was trying to make you feel bad because U got her in trouble. But hey, look on the bright side U just got 5 free dollars! ; p
