Manchester City’s assistant manager, Brian Kidd has gone on to admit that City’s Champions League success will take time and that it won’t happen overnight.
City went on to end their forty four year long League trophy drought, as the team went on to win the Premier League title.
The team went on to wait until the very last minute of the season to secure the title, but having done so, City is now looking far stronger and driven then it ever did in the past.

In order for the team to come close to the same status as those footballing teams, City are going to have to win the Champions League and Kidd knows that the team is going to take some time to achieve this feat.
When talking about his team’s chances of winning the European trophy, the City assistant manager is reported to have said: "People have got to remember it was Manchester City’s first time in the Champions League last season and it takes time”
"That's not just being flippant, it is a different way of playing, different circumstances and you grow into it but it does take time."Kidd also observed that the experience from playing in the tournament is far more valuable than anything that he and the
other coaching staff can implement on the training ground.”
Kidd also went on to reveal that one of the reasons for City doing as well as they have, is because of the fact that the players went on to ask each other to give it their all throughout the season, in order for them to break out and do the best that they
possibly could.
"The demands these players made on each other both in training and on the field was incredible, as was the support they gave each other, it shows they have a great spirit."
Mancini and Kidd will now be hoping for the players to maintain this spirit and form, as they look to come back even stronger next season.
