Manchester City’s assistant manager, Brian Kidd seems to be tired of all the critics bad mouthing City and feels that they need to stop doing so.
Despite having won the league, City have had a number of problems at the club this past season. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 were involved in a number of, off the pitch antics, which has caused the media to constantly take a shot at the
club.
However, Kidd feels that the media now needs to realize the fact that City went on to win the league and despite all their problems, they are the Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
When talking about all the bad media that the club was getting and the negative image of the team, which was being portrayed to the world, the City assistant manager is reported to have said: "I have got great belief and great trust in this squad. And I
couldn't believe it when the critics came out about the spirit and camaraderie or whatever”
"I have been brought up with the view that whatever is going on in your house stays there. So where I was born and bred you are going to turn around and say, 'Hey, shut up, I will deal with it in my household'.
"Unless you are working every minute of every day with these players then you can't give an opinion.”
He then went on to admit that the only people who took cheap shots at the club, were those who didn’t know what was going on with the club. However, if they came into the club on a regular basis, they would realize that winning the title was the least that
the team deserved, because of all the hard work that they had been putting in throughout the course of the season.
"The people who question the spirit here are outsiders. They just don't know. If you see them supporting one another on matchdays and in training, nobody would be questioning the camaraderie.”
It is now up to City to come back even stronger next season and prove just how good they really are.
