  1. Dora Dora Dora the Explorer, who's as super cool as Dora Dora.

Best kids show since Sesame Street. Period.

Wonder Pets IS good too, its classical music and aimed at very young kids.

  2. my daughter loves yo gabba gabba...

that is the only show she pays attention to...

i also bought this your baby can read dvd..and i let her watch it most of the time..

  3. yo gabba gabba is the greatest show ever for little ones. the songs and the dancing will have them so entertained.

  4. lets see my son is 9 months and enjoys:

    spongebob squarepants

    handy manny

    bob the builder

    Music and Dancing:

    sesame street

    blues clues

  5. Our son loves Barney (pbs or you can by dvds for cheap at walmart..like 5 dollars) , It's a big big world (pbs), and mickey mouse club house. Our son is 11 months old.

  6. Why not go for the classics:  Sound of Music, Pennies in the Rain, Gangs of New York...etc.  You don't have to stick to cartoons.

I also agree TV should wait.  It's probably all around better if you found something for her to do that is more interactive than television.  Maybe get her a little keyboard to make her own music.

  7. barney of course!!

  8. my 7 month old ( and I !) LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba! on Noggin.  I Tivo that and show it whenever I'm trying to get things done in the kitchen and she's in her pack&play.

Also, the Sunny Side Up show on Sprout from 9 - 12 EST shows all the classics (Thomas, Sesame, Caillou, Berenstain Bears) in their entirety while being hosted by a human and a puppet chicken named "Chica"!  My daughter LOVES Chica!

These channels might only be available if you have digital cable, so checked your listings to see.

    Good luck!

  9. My baby is 5 months old and she is HOOKED on Baby Gourmet. There are a few but I have the first one, where they have music and introduce fruits & veggies. Real ones. And real kids. Definitely worth it!

  10. While I am usually against little ones watching TV, I think the backyardagins are a neat program and the songs on it are pretty catchy :)

I like the wonderpets--it tends to have a lot of dancing and music, plus it has some good "lessons" in it as well.
