Question:

Kids Stage?

My kide love to perform little plays! They are always BEGGING me to build a stage for them in the basement! I would but i don't know how! I have a peice of plywood that is about 4 by 2 1/2 ft. But that's not big enough. Will you please tell me where i can get NON-expensive plywood and how to build the stage. Thanks!

  1. Try Home Depot or 84 lumber

    Then just put the piece of plywood where you want it, and paint it, then nail it into the wall and then put bricks or more wood under neath it to support it! (you might want to hang some fabric from the ceiling for a curtain also)


  2. Good luck finding non expensive plywood! All you would probably need is one 4x8x3/4 sheet anyway. Start with some 2x4s and basically build a square box. It will take you four 2x4x8'.  Cut three @ 93" and the other one in half. Put the long ones down and attach the 4' ones to them(outside of the long ones). Lay the plywood on top to get everything squared and fasten with 3" wood screws(2x4s) 2' for the plywood.
