Its my daughters 2nd birthday in a few weeks and we have been looking to buy her a trike but are not sure what sort to get as there are so many around. We want one that will last her a few years, is fairly quiet and is good quality.

Any suggestions or comments would be great.

  1. if your interested in a good, simple, unisex color trike, I got a red and white radio flyer from walmart for $40.  it's a basic trike with a little "trunk" so they can pack around a few fave toys and it's very quiet, super lite and has a high back seat.  My daughter has has hers since march (she'll be 3 in august) and absolutely LOVES it....I got her one of those other ones way back and she's not really too partial to it, I think she finds it hard to maneuver sometimes.

  2. I know that the Smart Trike ones are really good. The parent handle turn so you can steer the trike as well and they also have a little material type roof for shading the bub. It has a 5 point harness instead of just a 3 point harness, removeable foot pegs and a tray for storing stuff underneath. Parent handle is removable so it lasts from 10 months  to 3yrs.

Depends where you live as to who stocks them, so just put smart trike in google and you will find out which stores have them.

  3. I would be aiming by 3 to have her on a 12 " bike, so I personally would spend too much on a trike.

  4. Kettrike Jumbo with Seatbelt
