  1. Ummm, its not likely you can get a paid acting job for a kid. But there are plenty of plays and productions that are all volunteer cast that she can do. I seriously doubt you can get a professional job for her.

  2. Move to Hollywood,

    Find acting schools

  3. john Robert powers acting school

  4. u need to have connections to people related to commercial advertising

  5. Get an agent, put her in theatre classes, singing, dancing, acting etc.  Shelp her around to auditions from one end of the country to the other (hopefully you are independntly wealthy because all of the above is quite expensive).  Get a 2nd mortgage on your house to help pay for it, use your car(s) as collateral for loans to help pay for it.  Max out credit cards and wind up in bankruptcy court...that should just about do it.

  6. go to camps and try out for local commerials.

  7. dang. This is my son O'Neal's profile and is his very good at acting and he is  a guitarist. im tring to find the same. there is a website that i found that list acting jobs in over 20 cities, but its not helpful.

  8. john casabloncas

  9. no no no no no hate those ideas.

put her in plays call scouts have them come to her plays

best acting children get lead role

if she doesn't get them dont call scouts cuzz the better kidz get the role

  10. There are thousands of talented kids out there and most families lose thousands of dollars trying to promote their children to no avail.  And most of the parents are dreaming of having a star for a kid so they can live off the kids income which is so wrong!!!  Let a kid be a kids and grow up normal.  Do local theatre for fun and encourage school plays and the like.  If she does local theatre or joins a group that does some traveling plays over the summers - she could be discovered...you never know.  But I certainly wouldn't want my kids to live the hollywood lifestyle...those kids end up so lonely with no real friends and are drinking and drugging before they are teens.

  11. My cousin takes her daughter to pageants and they have talent competitions. Has she done that yet? I would try getting her into talent shows and seeing how that goes first. Then if she seems to enjoy it, I would check into talent agents and maybe move close to Hollywood so you will be near the auditions.

Here is a website listing 232 talent agents in the Los Angeles area. Good luck!

  12. Well what I do is go to google, type in a show that you'd like to have her act on, then it comes up with a link leading to a website for auditions. For example type in "The Suite Life on Deck" in google, then one of the links says "blah blah auditions, blah blah" Lol ok hope she lands a job! =]

  13. If she really wants this and not you, you'll need to take her to auditions and have her photos done. She needs experience so she'll need to be involved in community theater, etc.

  14. Wait until she's an adult and let her decide.

Seriously, I was a child actress. It's no life for a kid. You can't protect them from all the criticism they get from, gee, EVERYBODY. Not just the directors, but producers and other actors and make-up and wardrobe people and the on-set tutors. And if your kid happens to get famous, then there is the general public and the papparazi. It's completely horrible and there's only one chance in a million you can protect your child from it.

If you love your kid, stick to local, fun theatre and don't put her to work. It's not fair to do that to her.
