Kids and GPS?

I was having a discussion earlier and I am curious to know what you ladies think. Would you have a GPS chip implanted in your child if you were aware of its location on the body and if the information was available only to you through a company that keeps your info confidential?

h**l YEAH id get that **** put in my kids!!  that is, on the rare occasion that I let them off their leashes!!  I wanna know where my kids are 24/7.

No.  I would not deliberately have any foreign object placed in my child's body.  

If I am extraordinarily paranoid, there are now attractive watches that your child can wear which can also translate their location.  You can explain to them that it is required that they wear it.

The problem with having a GPS chip implanted in your child is..will the company "keep your info confidential"? How many people could find your child if if weren't kept confidential. I am not apt to trust any "company", or anyone who could hack into the system, etc. with my child's location.
