  1. Trust me I no about summer break.I have five children 4 of them are in school. They wanted me to take them to Disney World, and I said ok.Then they said they wanted to go to Disney Land I said ok.Now they want to go to Hawaii. It is alot JUST GO WHERE EVER YOUR CHILDREN WANT TO GO

  2. Very similar to yours. By the time school is out, the kids will be 10, 8, 6, and due in August. I've already gotten a pool pass and some water toys for outside. With me this big, we plan to do local things for our "vacation" this year (waterparks, a few tourist traps, family visiting). The kids are all in scouts too, so we'll probably knock out a few requirements/try-its/badges on yucky days. They've got scout camp scheduled, we are moving right after school is out, and with a brother due too, our summer won't be boring!

  3. I usually have my oldest enrolled in a city-run day camp but she has outgrown it now. Since she is 14 she wants a job but she also wants to spend 2 weeks as a CIT at this camp. We will have to figure out how to do this or help her make a choice.

Meanwhile, we have a vacation planned in NH and time together with my sister is always a must.

  4. My kids go to "year round" school.  They will have about a month off.  We are planning a trip to Washington D.C. to visit the Smithisonian, not sure how long the trip will be but it will be at least a week.  They will also be visiting both sets of grandparents for a week at a time, once home it will be time for them to gear up for back to school.

  5. I'm putiing my kids in day camps. They are week long and I let them pick which ones they wanted. My daughter (9) picked basketball. My son (7) picked football. My other daughter (3) picked dance. I have a 1 year old but he stays with me. I'm also going to the beach, week long vaca and we have a pool so friends will be allowed over.

  6. We homeschool year round because our child loves our school.  During the summer we add more art classes, more horseback riding, more pool time, etc.  We take our vacations during the school year.  Right after the school year starts we are going to a homeschooler's Not Back To School Party at Disneyland.

  7. Well my daughter got out last week and will be starting summer school for 3 weeks next week.  Then we are having grandma here. after that we are going to my sisters wedding in another state and visiting the other grandma for 2 weeks.  after that school start 3 weeks later.

  8. well im going to let my kid hang with some of her friends c my lil girl is 16 1/2 and is going to have 1 of her own so i think its best for her to spend time with her friends b4 her baby comes and b4 she doesnt get to have a life..

  9. Well...We doplanon doing things however..

I do year-round homeschooling with my kids. Meaning we still do school. I think having the kids out without any schooling is not good for them, they forget so much.

We plan on going on vacation, to visit family. Lots of park time. Cookouts, Swimming, Reading, School work, Sleepovers, camping, fishing and hopefully much more

  10. It sounds like you know the best things to do,for your family,enjoy...

  11. Well unfortunately i dont get to spend this summer with my girls 10 and 7... My hubby had gotten new military orders and we had to move from the east to NM.. So my children are going to Indiana for the whole summer to be with there biological fathers so my summer will be kinda slow!!!
