Kids birthday ideas?

My brother is turning eight next week (he's in second grade), and I need to arrange a party for him. He's inviting eleven kids so far, but more may be added on (Fifteen at most, but we probably won't get up to that many). I can't have the party at home, or at a park. Some places we've considered are bowling, McDonalds, movies, a science museum, a video game place, and a place we have here called Caesarland (we live in metro-Detroit btw). So far we've ruled out all but the last one.

Does anybody have any other ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.

I live in the metro detroit area also.  When my son was 8 we had his party at great skate up on Hayes, it is a really fun place if they like roller blading.  Also, laser tag is a lot of fun, we had ours at Laser Quest on John-R, really cool party rooms at both places!  spring/winter parties are so hard to plan here in michigan!
