Kielduff College set to shine at Nottingham – Molson Coors Maiden (Heat 3) Preview
The Heat 3 Open Race of ‘The Molson Coors Maiden 480m Trophy’ is set to begin at Nottingham greyhound racing track at 20:52 (GMT) on Monday night, February 27. The £125 contest of 480m Flat distance will be a significant event.
The six entries for the high-stakes competition include Headford West, Endova Rossi, Mill Donald, Boher Chieftain, Dee Double You and Kielduff College.
Following are the career snapshots of those three hounds who have higher chances to fill up top three positions on the results card.
Kielduff College
L Cook’s black and white dog has not won any race since the dawn of 2012. However, he has delivered some outstanding performances at Nottingham track. The young runner finished second in his last outing on February 18.
As a whole, the son of College Causeway out of Golf Crazy has been an average performer throughout his career. The dog possesses enough talent but he is somewhat inconsistent.
In tonight’s competition, he is likely to make a strong comeback and won the race. His chances to finish first are as high as 80 percent.
Headford West
Since winning a couple of consecutive races in August 2011, the trainee of A Grewcock has been enduring a lean patch. However, the white and black dog has not let his confidence down as he unleashes sufficient struggle in every outing.
In the early days of his career, the dog had been a decent performer. He is supposed to grab at least second spot in the Heat 3.
Boher Chieftain
Trained by C Lister OBE, the white and black young dog has been winless since his debut on January 25, 2012. However, the novice runner owns plenty of talent. He is likely to show a good run and bag at least third top position in tonight’s competition.
Conclusion
None of the other runners except this trio is carrying good momentum. Thus, the Heat 3 race will be a clash among the favourites. Kielduff College will have to run to his utmost to wrest victory from his two potential competitors. Let us see who gains what.
Good luck to all the runners. The contest is just a few hours away.
