Kieron Pollard eager to play Test cricket now after his T20 adventures – Cricket News Update

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph Newspaper, Pollard said, “Test cricket is always going to be the ultimate. My ambition is to play in all three formats. Next year, I’m going to play more first-class cricket. I decided not to go to the T20 tournament

Making his international debut in 2007, the right-hander has played 43 Tests and 20 T20Is so far. His highest batting average in International cricket has been 21.73 and bowling economy rate is 5.24.

The all-rounder is of the view that his struggle for establishing himself in the game and securing his financial background is due to the fact that he hails from a poor and pathetic family of a far-flung region in the Island.
Pollard is often criticised for preferring cash to cricket. Now, he wants to silence his critics by playing more Test Cricket.
As Pollard is just 24 right now, he has at least a decade to serve the 5-day version of the game.
