Kieron Pollard wants board and players to come to an agreement for betterment of team: Cricket News
West Indian star all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, wants the ongoing dispute between the board and senior players to end as soon as possible. Cricket has suffered a lot in the Caribbean and Pollard was eager to guide his team out of crisis with the help of some
other experienced members.
The aggressive player stated, “It's really disappointing to see the players at loggerheads with the board. At some point of time, I believe, they will come to an agreement. That should be soon. The best way is to come to an agreement and take http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760
cricket forward.”
Pollard is currently in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755.
On his participation in the lucrative league, Pollard stated, “It was a mutual agreement between me and the West Indies Cricket Board. It was a matter of me playing in the IPL. We had that agreement sometime ago. I am here to play in the IPL. That discussion
was done long ago.”
Pollard revealed that he was surprised on being retained in the MI team for yet another season. He bats in the lower-order, but has been unable to get too many chances with the bat to prove his mettle. However, the aggressive all-rounder was not bothered
at all and was pleased to see his top-order scoring runs with consistency.
He stressed on team-work, saying it was the most important factor in winning matches. Despite his participation in the IPL, Pollard has been closely watching his national side in action as well.
The flamboyant cricketer added that he had been watching the Pak-Windies series ball by ball. However, the result of the One Day Internationals (ODIs) haven’t been very good for the Caribbean Kings, as they lost the first three games of the five-match series.
There have been some positives for the home team though, as they managed to win the lone T20 game played between the two nations. They also survived a whitewash defeat, winning the fourth ODI by just one run (Duckworth http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lewis-c72807 method). Both teams will play
one more limited-over game before heading into a two-match test series.
