Kiktzbuehel, Piemonte (Piedmont), and Ruka (Finland), all booked for March Break already???

Question

I was searching Expedia and TripAdvisor only to be told that accomodation during March Break has ALREADY sold out at these destinations. There must be some kind of mistake right? Sure these resorts are popular and world-renowned, but to be sold out of all available rooms in August is ridiculous.

Please tell me there is a way to get accomodations on site at these destinations.

That is typical for ski areas, they will be sold out of space 6 months in advance in many areas.  Stay tuned and get on the wait list, cancellations do occur.  The Vancouver Winter Olympics will be fully booked by November
