Kilbreedy Way vying to win Sprint Trophy
Kilbreedy Way is vying to complete his hat-trick by grabbing top spot in the high-voltage Open Race of Molson Coors Sprint Trophy which will take place at Nottingham track on Monday night, April 16.
The significant contest over a distance of 305 meters is scheduled to start at 19:32 (GMT). For the prize cheque worth £150, the David Pruhs-trained black dog will daringly compete against Funcheon Black, Dromana Max, Lissom Jack, Romeo At Risk and Gold
Finch.
Kilbreedy Way is on a hat-trick at the moment. The three-year-old rookie sprinter bagged two outstanding victories in a row each on April 9 and April 13, 2012.
Since the very beginning of the calendar year, the maverick hound has been performing well. He elegantly won a race each in February and March.
This epic success streak has boosted up the dashing dog’s morale to a great extent. Most of the punters in the betting market are also relying on him for tonight’s competition.
However, the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Lead The Way has run at Nottingham for just a few times. Thus, he does not seem to be well-familiar with the track where he is going to show his guts tonight.
But the brilliant sprinter can cover up this fault line with his excellent capabilities and inherent racing skills.
If Kilbreedy Way manages to maintain a reasonable lead in the beginning of the race, his chances to finish first will be as high 90 percent.
Funcheon Black is the only runner who can give tough time to the hot favourite hound.
The P. White-trained white and black dog nicely notched up top spots in his last two outings during the first decade of April 2012. He is also looking to complete his hat-trick by winning tonight.
Romeo At Risk is too likely to do well in the race. C. Price’s white and brindle dog accomplished two triumphs along with a runner-up position during February-March 2012. The son of Droopys Marco out of Schofield Damsel moved forward to finish first in his
last start on April 9.
Kilbreedy Way will definitely outstrip all, but after a relentless effort. The race will have many twists and turns. Let us enjoy the heated action. Good luck to all the runners.
