Kilcar Lassie to make an impact in 2012 Track Bookmakers Puppy Derby Round 1 Heat 11 at Harold’s Cross
Ardfert Thunder’s fans have a bad news that Kilcar Lassie is in good shape, and will start the race from the red box. The draw is a massive plus for R. McKeown’s charge, and if the b***h takes an early advantage, she will not face any trouble whatsoever
in outsmarting her opponents, including Kilcar Lassie.
All this drama will be seen in the 2012 Track Bookmakers Puppy Derby Round 1 Heat 11, which is scheduled to take place at Harold’s Cross on Friday, September 7th. The 525 yards contest is going to be initiated at 22:15 GMT.
Besides the abovementioned pair, the participants are: Master Of Arts, Ballyhill Elvis, Phanters Capri and Taggart. The champion of this event will leave the park with a prize worth €125.
Kilcar Lassie is in decent form these days. At the end of July, the black b***h registered an emphatic win, beating Borna Gem by 1½ lengths. She could not display an equally fine show on the next occasion, but was not disgraced at all.
She eventually finished third in a similar contest. The daughter of Head Bound is coming into this big battle after a couple of very good solo outings. The draw is also in her favour, thus the b***h carries a very good chance of putting up a solid show tonight.
Ardfert Thunder looks to be the second most powerful runner today. Although victories are not coming to his way these days, the black dog showed reasonable form last few times.
There is nothing wrong with his rhythm, but the surface is quite new for him. The son of Droopys Vieri is making his Harold’s Cross debut, and there will be some pressure on him.
Out of others, Master Of Arts is being considered as a dangerous hound. But we don’t expect him to be dominant, as he is making his first appearance at the top level.
A hard clash between Ardfert Thunder and Kilcar Lassie is on the cards. The latter will be our choice, as she is well drawn. Good luck to all the hounds.
