Kildare Smiler likely to win www.Sheffieldretiredgreyhounds.co.uk
Kildare Smiler has been given the best odds for winning the www.Sheffieldretiredgreyhounds.co.uk at Sheffield in England on Monday, May 21, 2012. The winner of the Grade A4 event will walk away with a cash prize of £86 in the end.
The 500 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 11:57 GMT and a total of six quality runners have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Kildare Smiler, Mucky Maguire, Ace Delight, Bawna Velvet, Stepaside Fizz and Known Choice.
Looking at the overall record of all participants, the bookies have favoured Kildare Smiler for the race. She is in decent form, which will definitely encourage the punters to risk some money on her.
The L. Stephenson’s trainee has been unable to deliver a winning result over the past few events, which shows that she is not carrying good momentum at the moment. However, her most recent run suggested that she has found some rhythm once again.
The white and blue b***h finished runner up last time around and gave a tough time to the race winner. She was not given the best odds back then, but still fought extremely hard until the end, finishing short by just a head distance.
If everything goes well for Kildare Smiler, she will definitely take the top spot at Sheffield today. She is the daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Kildare Linnett and was born in December 2009.
Other than that, Mucky Maguire might also attract a few bets in his favour, as he appears to be in good shape. He has got good stamina, but will need to be at his best in order to challenge his rivals at Sheffield.
In his most recent race, the P. Sanderson’s trained hound finished third overall. He could have won the event, as the difference between the top three was quite a narrow one. He did have the speed at the start, but was unable to hold on until the end.
Mucky Maguire is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Santorini Jewel and was born in October 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Ace Delight and Bawna Velvet will also be the ones to watch out for in the race.
