Killacolla Posh certain about bagging the John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 – Heat 3
Racing straight out of two training sessions, the two-year-old black b***h, Killacolla Posh has surged her chances for success in the John Smiths Peterborough Derby 2012 – Heat 3 by 2 to 1. The race will be hosted by Peterborough over 420 metres flat on Wednesday, 25th July.
Competing for the £100 prize money are Frisby Barney, Millwards Tiger, Killacolla Pedro and Julies Boy.
Droopys Scolari’s daughter cracked into the new season on 14th January, 2012 in the Grade A1 Droopys Darina Brood b***h Stakes at Peterborough over 420 metres. She settled as the runner-up right behind the winner, Ballymac Phoenix, who made it to the other end of the wire in 25.49 seconds.
It was only by a neck’s margin that the two-year-old missed the seasonal debut.
Her first success of the season was in the Grade A1 420 metres flat race on 25th January, 2012 at Peterborough. Even though she got crowded initially, leading just near the line got her the race in 25.86 seconds.
She escaped defeat by a neck’s margin.
The last four races of the two-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Killacolla Lady, got evenly divided in two second scores and two victories.
The P. Ward trained won the D.H.S Begley Peterborough Graders Derby – Heat 2 on 20th June, 2012 at Peterborough over 420 metres. Not compromising on the lead after taking off from the first gate saw the race getting concluded in 25.54 seconds and the winner racing away by the margin of 5 ½ lengths.
Finishing the closest to the winner was, Killacolla Pedro.
The black b***h won the July Ladies Dup on 5th July, 2012 at Henlow over 460 metres. After bolting out of the third gate the two-year-old led for halfway while maintaining the pace and concluding the race in 28.08 seconds with by 1 ½ lengths advantage.
Killacolla Posh got drilled over 420 metres at Peterborough on 9th July and then on 19th July. She accomplished the former in 25.26 seconds and the latter in 25.35 seconds.
The sessions right after the win were to retain the form of the two-year-old as it will make her the first one through the wire tonight.
