I did lots of sit spins, nad had some falls on my leg from them. My left leg hurts in the theigh area where it was hitting the ice (fairly hard) in the sit spins i couldnt get up in. I can walk on it fine, but it hurts when i bend my leg taking the weight. Anyways i can help it feel easier by tomorrow night. Would gentle streaching help or relaxing?

  1. Reverse an ice pad and heat pad for about an hour or two and take a hot shower or bath right after. We were doing cannonball spins last week and I fell on my back, lucky for you, you probably didn't have to go swim right after. I did the same thing and felt better the next day.

  2. No I wouldn't stretch it but maybe putting a heating pad on it for 20 min. but first ice it down and if it still hurts go to a doctor. And by the way I wouldn't go ice skating for a while resting it would also be good so relax and take it east for a while and then see how it feels.

  3. Haha, it's funny... I asked a question very similar to your's about a week ago. I pulled a muscle while doing my sit spins, and my thigh was really sore. I massaged it every now and then, and I also put a heat pad on it for 20 minutes, and then switched to ice. My thigh healed after a week. :]

  4. put an ice pack on it.

    ice on 20 min,

    ice off 20 min,

    ice on 20 min,

    ice off 20 min

    and so on.

relaxing will be good. and rubbing it!

rubbing prevents bruising, so next time you fall alot rub the spot you fell on.

sleep is great, gets lots of sleep tonight.

  5. I wouldn't stretch it but i would gently massage it and put ice one it for 15 minutes and then put heat on it for 15 minutes. Right now you just need a lot of rest and try to not push it and try doing things that will hurt you.

    Hope you feel better.
